Tip Tuesday: Creating User Groups in Ekos

Today’s tip is about creating user groups to elevate your task and team management processes.

User groups can be created for a variety of teams, including production, cellar, packaging, and QA. These groups allow you to see who is responsible for completing tasks throughout the production and packaging process, creating accountability across the team.

By utilizing these groups, Management and Production users can assign them to specific tasks from the recipe or batch level. If a team is assigned to a task, each person in that group can see it appear on the Batch Calendar, giving them insight into the day’s schedule. You can also assign individual users to tasks instead of an entire group depending on your management needs. With the flexibility of Ekos, if there are ever changes in team or schedule, you can always adjust task assignments on the fly.
