Tip Tuesday: Recipe Updates in Ekos

Need to change a recipe that affects planned batches? This tip will help.

Today’s tip is about applying recipe updates across all planned batches in Ekos.

While in production, you may decide to start using a new ingredient in your standard recipe, requiring a recipe update. Instead of making this change to each batch of your product, you can apply those changes across all planned batches.

When you’re finished making the recipe updates, you’ll click the three dots in the top right corner of the recipe screen and select Update All Planned Batches. Once this option is selected, Ekos will apply your changes across all batches that have a Planned status and are set to use that recipe. This saves you the time of manually updating ingredients in each batch, allowing your team to continue working without missing a beat.

That’s it for today’s tip — see you next time!
