Today’s tip is on sharing reports with your team in Ekos. Management users have access to edit and create reports in Ekos, and can them companywide as needed, either with specific users or overall security profiles.
After sharing preferences have been updated, the report will appear in the user’s Reports tab for them to view. If there is certain data on a shared report that should not be altered, you can use filter pins and locks to control how the team interacts with the report. The lock prevents users from changing or removing the parameters of a filter. The pin prevents users from deleting a filter but they could modify the parameter(s) of the filter. These are great tools to use whenever sharing data about sales numbers, or closing period date.
That’s it for today’s tip – see you next time!
