New Charlotte brewery utilizes business management software to set up for a successful first year
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Oct. 19, 2021) – Vaulted Oak Brewing has implemented Ekos, the leading business management software for craft breweries. The brewery opened its doors in Charlotte in May 2021 and partnered with Ekos as part of its launch strategy. Vaulted Oak Brewing will use Ekos, also headquartered in Charlotte, N.C., to manage operations, streamline processes and save time and money.
“We chose Ekos because we wanted a proven and consistent way to track inventory and production costs. Already, being able to see what’s in stock in real-time through Ekos has proven very useful,” said Vaulted Oak Brewing founder Kiel Arrington. “Once we have a sales team and active distribution system in place, we will be able to use Ekos’s sales capabilities as well. Ekos will save us time, money and labor throughout the brewhouse, taproom and beyond!”
Ekos is a business management software designed specifically for craft producers. With capabilities for inventory management, tracking sales and customer accounts, drag-and-drop tools for production, robust cost insights and more, Ekos has everything a brewery needs to effectively manage its operations. Ekos users report significant efficiencies, improved visibility, streamlined communication, and increased revenue.
Vaulted Oak is one of the newest breweries in North Carolina, which boasts a strong beer community. Today, Ekos powers operations for more than 40 craft producers in the Charlotte metro area including NoDa Brewing Co., Olde Mecklenburg Brewery, Sycamore Brewing Co., Legion Brewing Co., Summit Seltzer and Red Clay Ciderworks.
“Our support for the Charlotte brewing community runs deep. Vaulted Oak has already established itself as a vital part of this community and we are privileged to work alongside them,” said Josh McKinney, CEO of Ekos. “We can’t wait to be a part of Vaulted Oak’s journey and see how they will grow in the years ahead.”
