Ekos is on a mission to empower craft manufacturers all over the world to scale their businesses, streamline their processes, and optimize their teams. We’re looking for a Sales Manager to join our growing sales team. The Sales Manager will create, manage, and convert a mix of self-generated and marketing-generated leads. This team member will work closely with prospects to establish the value of our software. This position will have measurable metrics and will be provided with continuous feedback and periodic performance reviews. This position reports to the Director of Sales and is based in our Charlotte headquarters.

What you'd be doing:

• Follow up on self-generated and marketing generated leads

• Generate new leads through cold calling (cold calling is actually warm calling because many prospects already know about us), relationship building, and industry resources

• Maintain and expand database of prospects

• Attend industry conferences and events to meet with potential clients face to face and build relationships

• Perform demonstrations to prospective clients

• Fully understand potential client’s business in order to fully communicate the value of our software

• Manage a sales pipeline, moving deals through all stages of the Ekos sales process

• Compile potential customer feedback to partner with development on future enhancements and products

What we'd like to see:

• 1-3 years of SaaS sales experience required

• Knowledge of the craft food and beverage industry helpful but not required

• Strong phone presence

• Sales mindset (Always Be Closing)

• Superior organizational skills

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

• Excellent listening, writing, speaking and presentation skills

• Strong ability to work independently and with a team

• Basic proficiency with MS Office applications

• Experience with Salesforce a plus

• Availability to travel (1-2 times per month)

• Technologically savvy and adaptive to new systems and approaches

• Strong sense of professionalism and ability to represent Ekos in a positive manner
