How and What Information We Collect.
In order to use certain services associated with the software and/or website, you may be required to register with ekos_. When you register as a software and/or website user or otherwise voluntarily contact ekos_, including through use of the software, ekos_ will collect certain personally identifiable information from you. This information may include your name, email address, mailing address, telephone number, age, gender, and other information volunteered by you, such as information provided through responses, registration, reviews, emails, messages, and other electronic submissions sent by you to ekos_. You should not provide ekos_ with any personally identifiable information (or submit any personally identifiable information to ekos_ or any affiliated forums) unless you would like that information to be used by ekos_ in accordance with this Policy.
Ekos_ may also automatically collect non-personally identifiable information from you when you access the software and/or website, including but not limited to your Internet Protocol (“IP”) Address, the type of browser you use to access our software and/or website, the software and/or website you visited before you visited our software and/or website, and/or the software and/or website you visit when you leave our software and/or website.
When you log-in to the ekos_brewmaster software, ekos_ may also track your use to provide you with better service and to inform future business decisions.
What We Do With Your Information.
Ekos_ does NOT review, analyze, or export from the ekos_brewmaster software information regarding users’ trade secrets, such as formulas, practices, processes, designs, instruments, patterns, commercial methods, recipes, financial and technical information, or compilations of information that are not generally known or reasonably ascertainable by others.
Ekos_ will NOT share your personally identifiable information with any third parties, including individuals, businesses, or government entities, without your consent. Ekos_ will share your personally identifiable information if required to do so by law, court order, subpoena, or other legal process or in the event you violate our software license agreement. Ekos_ may use your information to provide you with the services you request, notify you about the status of changes to its services, and improve the software and/or website.
In addition Ekos_, or our third party server, may collect certain non-personally identifiable information. We may use your IP address to diagnose problems with our servers or software, to administer our site, and to gather demographic information.
A Note for Parents.
The software and/or website and any other affiliated forums, are not directed to children under eighteen (18) years of age. Ekos_ does not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under eighteen (18) years of age.
We will not and do not sell, trade, or rent any information gathered through our software and/or website to third parties. We provide some of our services through contractual arrangements with affiliates, services providers, partners, and other third parties (collectively, “service partners”). We and our service partners may use your Personally Identifiable Information to operate our site and to deliver our services. For example, we work with a third party credit card processor in order to receive payments. We may also release your address information to a third party delivery service to deliver products that you order and/or provide order information to third parties that help us provide customer service.
Our service partners as well as other third-party software and/or websites that may be linked to our software and/or website have their own privacy and data collection policies and practices. Ekos is not responsible for any actions or privacy policies of such third parties. You should check the applicable privacy policies of those third parties when providing personally identifiable information through linked software and/or websites.
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
