List recognizes Charlotte’s fastest-growing private companies
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Dec. 4, 2020) – Ekos, the leading business management software for craft producers of wine, beer and cider, was named to the Charlotte Business Journal’s Fast 50 list, in the No. 26 spot. The winners were announced in a virtual award ceremony on December 3.
This is the first year Ekos has made the list of Charlotte’s fastest-growing private companies. Ekos, which was founded in 2014, has demonstrated 46% growth over the past three years. The company has expanded its product offering into the wine market, surpassed 1,500 customers, and recently opened a new office in Optimist Park. This fall also marks one year since Ekos raised its Series A round with Noro-Moseley Partners.
“We founded Ekos with the goal of making it easier for craft makers to run their businesses, but we didn’t fully anticipate that the need for our software would be this large,” said Ekos CEO Josh McKinney. “We have accomplished a lot but still have so much more to do. I am so proud of the Ekos team for building a company that is making an impact on others, and even prouder that we are recognized among Charlotte’s most successful growing companies. It’s an honor to be a part of this esteemed group.”
