CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Oct. 27, 2020) – Ekos, a business management software for craft beverage producers, is a finalist in two categories for the NC TECH Awards: Industry Driven – AgTech and Software Company of the Year.
The NC TECH Awards are North Carolina’s statewide technology awards organized by the North Carolina Technology Association. The awards program recognizes companies, organizations and individuals for their achievement, innovation and leadership throughout the year.
The past 12 months have been a time of growth and expansion for Ekos. This year, the company:
- Raised $8 million in Series A funding
- Hired a dozen new employees across all levels and departments
- Rolled out product improvements and features, including two integrations with Arryved and Square
- Announced a new corporate headquarters and plans for a tech talent incubator
- Continued to grow its customer base and provide solutions for craft makers in beer, wine, cider, seltzer, kombucha, spirits and more
