New Ekos features transform winemakers’ chemistry, composition capabilities

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Aug 10, 2022) — As part of its mission to help winemakers make more and reimagine its wine experience, Ekos has released even more new improvements to its wine customers. In the past few months, the Ekos team has worked to revamp the wine lot production capabilities as part of a plan to upgrade the software’s wine experience.

Now, winemakers can count on Ekos for clearer, more detailed data about their production. With the addition of a chemistry tab in the Ekos wine experience, production teams can see the overall chemistry and historical logs of each wine lot they track in Ekos.

In addition to improved visibility into chemistry data points, winemakers now have access to more composition data about their wine. Lot composition is ever-changing, and Ekos’s newest features give winemakers data points from harvest to bottle.

Much of these data have historically been tracked in spreadsheets and paper logs, leading to inefficiencies and miscommunications across the business. With this latest release, Ekos brings winemakers another way to learn more about their craft and make the best product possible.

“Ekos’s latest wine production improvements will help our winemakers do what they do best: make amazing wine. With updated features, improved visibility, and a stronger winemaking experience overall, winemakers can fully trust Ekos to be their source of truth in their day-to-day work,” Ekos CEO Josh McKinney said. “I’m thrilled our team continues to innovate and bring Ekos customers the greatest value from our software. Our team values getting better every day, and this latest release demonstrates a company-wide commitment to constant improvement.”

Beyond these new features, Ekos has been helping winemakers improve visibility and efficiency for years. Ekos is the only end-to-end winery management software on the market. Its cloud-based platform helps producers streamline inventory, production, sales, and accounting processes. Ekos also integrates with POS, ecommerce, and accounting platforms to further empower producers across their business.

The Ekos team is continuing to enhance and release improvements to the wine experience, including changes to the way work orders and lots are understood in the software. To learn more, visit goekos.com/wine.
