CHARLOTTE, N.C. (December 2, 2022) – Ekos, the leading end-to-end business management software for breweries and wineries, was recently named one of Charlotte’s fastest-growing companies and was recognized for being a leader in the software space of North Carolina.
Ekos was named to the 2022 Fast 50 list, compiled by the Charlotte Business Journal, which recognizes privately held companies in the Charlotte area with the highest revenue growth over the past three years. This is Ekos’s third consecutive year on the list, and the company came in at no. 34 this year.
The North Carolina Technology Association’s annual awards also named Ekos the top software solutions company in the state for its innovation, excellence, and growth.
This year brought innovation and change to Ekos’s business and product, including:
- Making improvements to the overall speed and usability of the core Ekos product including an all-new production planner, QuickBooks sync improvements, and bulk inventory transfers, which are now five times faster
- Reimagining its wine production experience to give winemakers clear insights into their product from grapes to glass and transform winemakers’ chemistry and composition features
- Adding ecommerce platform Shopify to its ecommerce integrations to save customers time and prevent over- and under-selling by allocating inventory to Shopify
- Bringing home a number of company-wide awards like Business North Carolina’s Best Places to Work and earning a spot on the 2022 Inc. 5000 list.
“Earning recognition in our hometown and our home state of North Carolina is an honor,” said Ekos CEO Josh McKinney. “Our team strives for innovation and excellence every single day, and these awards provide motivation as we continue to deliver the best product and experience for our customers.”
